A Friday night in the middle of winter in ALMOST, MAINE can get pretty cold and snowy. Happy and not-so-happy romances seem as abundant as the stars twinkling in the deep blue sky.  As groups of stars form constellations, so the brief episodes and vignettes of this play are connected by time and place--each occurs on a Friday night in the middle of winter in and around Almost.

The wistful charm, quirky humor and bracing sense of hopefulness of those episodes and vignettes are what make this romantic comedy a must-see for audiences.

Playwright John Cariani's authentic dialogue requires a quartet of actors that will portray twenty characters; twenty wonderful people that audiences will connect with, laugh with, and give over a small piece of their heart.
